Quality, heft, and methods of construction are the differentiators in our offerings.

The three primary construction methods are face grain, edge grain, and end grain. 

Face Grain

Uses the 'biggest' side of a piece of lumber i.e. the face. These boards use less material but they show knife marks much easier than edge and end grain cutting boards. Face grain is recommended for pieces that will not experience a lot of cutting and are more centered on serving and showing off.
